There’s something special about suburbia isn’t there? How everything is kept hush, hush, under wraps; if we don’t tell anyone it’s not happening. Then when you do lips waggle, ears listen, sounds travel.

Then compared to well, I guess I’m meaning more in sitcoms/media where it’s all branded about.

There’s definitely something about suburbia.

    In cities, crime is committed on the street. In the suburbs, it’s buried in the back garden (or in the chest freezer in the garage/basement.)

        All of Stephen King’s horrors (or most of them anyway) are set in little towns. Little towns with white picket fences and neatly mown lawns. If it looks wholesome, there must be something sinister behind it.
